4/26/04   Billy and the Bandit Motorsports Team have release there tentative schedule....Be sure to check back often for updates or changes. Billy will be kicking off the 2004 season by racing the Lancaster Raceway Park season opener on May 1st followed by the Tioaga Motorsports Park Season opener On May 8th. Billy spends time with some of the scout troops in East Aurora, NY .......

On Friday March 26,2004 Billy took time out of his busy schedule to to talk to some of the local scout troops about Auto Racing . Billy arrived dressed in his Racing uniform and brought some of his safety equipment along with video highlights  and driver cards to hand out. It soon became evident that the young scouts were eager to hear what Billy had to say and had many questions to ask. 

 Many people think that the winter time is when the Racers relax at home until a month before race season but that's not so......The winter time is 'When races are won" says Billy. The racecar gets totally disassembled and every nut and bolt gets replaced with new ones from Lawson products. The motor gets sent out to be "freshened" up and have the latest technology applied. The brake system is totally inspected including master cylinders, brake calipers, lines, hoses and brake rotors. They are either rebuilt or replaced. transmissions and rear ends get sent out to there respective service centers for their maintenance.All new sheet metal is fabricated by hand, enough for 3 complete bodies all done in the New Bandit Motorsports race shop facility in East Aurora, NY.
